from the 19th to the 28th of October 2023
An unforgettable journey in the paradise of riders amid perfect bends, dream beaches, pristine nature … and the antique and mysterious Nuragic civilization that dwelled in Sardinia during the Bronze Age and very many remains of which are found all over the territory. Not to mention the tasty and delicious Sardinian cuisine, together with the outstanding sheep cheese (pecorino) and the excellent wines produced on an island where quality of life is still pretty much a synonym of genuineness.

Tour program details
Day 1: Meeting in Alghero
Individual arrival of all participants at our hotel in Alghero. Our suggestion for today is an excursion to the Neptune Cave by boat from the port of Alghero, or the visit of the Anghelu Ruju necropolis with a stop for a tasting at the Sella & Mosca winery (the biggest wine producer of Sardinia) and of course a stroll in the enchanting historic center of Alghero with its maze of Spanish-styled streets. We all meet late afternoon and pick up the rental motorcycles. We will then enjoy an Italian aperitif to break the ice and brief you on the tour, followed by a traditional dinner in a typical restaurant.
Overnight in 4-star hotel in Alghero; included meals: D.
Day 2: 250 km
Today is about relishing the biking paradise that is Sardinia in all its glory. Today we head south, on exhilarating coastal roads full of beautiful bends, punctuated by picturesque villages with their painted facades (murales). We will then take beautiful winding roads inland to reach 2 of the most interesting archaeological sites of the island, including a nuraghe (UNESCO site). A real treat, this bike ride, but also for the eyes!
Overnight in 4-star hotel in Guspini; included meals: B, D.
Day 3: 160 km
Today, two beautiful roads, one coastal and the other internal (in our opinion, the most beautiful and fun itinerary in Italy) await us, interspersed with abandoned mines and temples hidden in the woods. A fantastic day that we propose to finish on the beach or at the beautiful swimming pool of our hotel.
Overnight in 4-star hotel in Guspini; included meals: B,D.
Day 4: 180 km
Our journey continues towards the south. We will take the roads that the car and motorcycle manufacturers use for their commercials and tests, full of scenic coastal panoramas, with bends to take your breath away! We will have lunch in a typical restaurant before heading to the enchanting Sardinian main town Cagliari, where we suggest you to have an aperitif in the old castle district, on the bastions, then a nice dinner in the picturesque harbour streets and finish the evening with some night life at the Poetto, Cagliari’s beach and disco area.
Overnight in 4-star hotel in Cagliari; included meals: B, L.
Day 5: 230 km
If there is one thing that is NOT missing in the beautiful island of Ichnusa, it’s the winding roads and that’s why it’s a biker’s paradise! We take the motorcycles to head to the east coast of the island and it will go up and down, with plenty of bends, a real rollercoaster on other beautiful motorcycle roads. Typical Sardinian lunch en route.
Overnight in 4-star hotel in Arbatax; included meals: B, L, D.
Day 6: 0 – … km
After the past few days of strong emotions in the saddle, we offer a day’s rest where you will be able to:
- stay in our seaside hotel and enjoy the beach, the pool, the sauna … whatever takes your fancy
- take a boat trip to the Bue Marino Grotto (named after the monk seal or “sea ox”) and have a dip in Sardinia’s three most famous coves, reachable only by water
- marvel at the unique creations by motorcycle-sculptor-cum-engineer Giordano Loi. We then take a guided tour of a Sardinian goldsmith’s studio (with a demonstration of the filigree work at which the islanders excel) . But this option will require a short transfer by bike!
Overnight in 4-star hotel in Arbatax; included meals: B. No main meal is included so this rest day is your oyster from early morning until late.
Day 7: 250 km
We take the road for the northeast of the island, with a superb itinerary on the mythical Orientale Sarda. An incursion into the heart of the island to see the village best known for its beautiful Murales is a good excuse for other beautiful and perfect mountain roads. The typical lunch with the shepherds inland will leave its mark, after which a further fantastic twisty road will help us to digest. The day ends again on the coast.
Overnight in 4-star hotel in San Teodoro; included meals: B, L.
Day 8: 240 km
Another day entirely devoted to beautiful curves and the spectacular coastal landscapes of the Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast). We will make some brief stops in the most famous seaside resorts and then a visit to the “Tombs of the Giants” will complete this wonderful day that ends in another beautiful hotel on the coast.
Overnight in 4-star hotel in Costa Paradiso; included meals: B, D.
Day 9: 230 km
For our last day we will make 1000 turns between the landscapes of the Valley of the Moon, ancient forests and the valley of the nuraghes, where we will stop for a very interesting visit. We’ll take the most beautiful route to return to Alghero, where at the end of the afternoon we drop off the rental motorbikes before returning to our first hotel and finish the day, and our tour, with a farewell dinner.
Overnight in 4-star hotel in Alghero; included meals: B, D.
Day 10: Departure from Alghero
After breakfast it’s everyone for himself, free to go home or explore further the magic of Italy on your own. There are plenty of opportunities to continue your trip that we can help you planning!
