A superb journey between dreamy coastal panoramas and elegant cities with a Spanish feel, with a small detour in Matera, the superb 2019 European capital of culture, in Basilicata.  Come and discover this beautiful area before it gets too popular with tourists!

Tour program details

Day 1: arrival in Bari
Individual arrival of all participants in the beautiful city of Bari, the capital of Apulia, where you must visit the historic centre, rich in remains of countless foreign domination over time … Better yet, dedicate it at least a full day.
We meet at our hotel late afternoon, to go together to pick up any rental motorbikes, and then get to know each other over a glass of something. typical Italian welcome aperitif will be the right occasion to get to know each other.

Day 2: 200 km
We get on the bikes and the tour can begin along the beautiful coastline north of Bari and continues in the forests and along the cliffs that characterise the peninsula of Gargano, in the extreme north of Puglia. It is in the suggestive and white Vieste where we stop for the night.

Day 3: 225 km
Today we head inland to visit the most suggestive and beautiful castle in Puglia. From there, the discovery of fascinating underground sites and then the magnificent Matera, named European capital of culture Unesco 2019, famous for its 2 very picturesque neighbourhoods called sassi, made of dwellings dug in stone.

Day 4: 180 km
We start heading south to explore the most beautiful coastal towns and roads in Puglia which have earned its fame and pride. Our journey will take us in the old Taranto, rich in history and true beauties to see, before dedicating ourselves to the most beautiful beaches and maritime places.

Day 5: 125 km
Our journey continues towards the south. It is along the coast that we will discover two beautiful seaside villages before making a stop to visit the old town of Lecce and end the day on the east coast, near Otranto.

Day 6: 150 km
Between history and coastal landscapes of great beauty, natural parks and marine reserves, the day will pass too quickly …. To amaze you in particular will be the splendid white limestone cliffs of Puglia, beautiful coastal villages, often chosen as film backsgrounds, and city centres of undoubtfully baroque beauty.

Day 7: 110 km
We leave Ostuni and its beautiful old town to visit the “trulli”, symbol of Apulia, and some of the most beautiful villages inland. From there we pass through other seaside resorts along the jagged coast, where we ride back to our departure city of Bari, where we return the rented motorbikes. A lavish farewell dinner is the perfect conclusion for this great adventure together.

Day 8: departure from Bari
We say our goodbyes after breakfast, From there, you can either go home or extend your stay further to enjoy the magic of Italy, to relax the body, after so many twists and turns through this beautiful tour.  We are at your disposal if you would like us to arrange your holiday further.
