The MotoGP in Italy, advice for ticket discounts and best spots to see the action

This year for the MotoGP in Italy, the Gran Premio d’Italia Oakley in Mugello is between the 31st of May and the 2nd of June. The good news is that it’s not too late for an early booking discount! The MotoGP team offers up to a whopping 15% discount for tickets booked before the 14th of April. For details and tickets, click here.

Our favourite spots to see this race in Tuscany is either from the tribuna centrale (grandstand, either silver or bronze), where you will see half of the track. The tickets are expensive but are worth it. If you prefer the general admission tickets, the best is to enter from the Scarperia entrance, which gives you a really good view of the track and also gives you the freedom to move around to see different angles.

If instead you would prefer to go the Gran Premio Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini in Misano between the 13th and the 15th of September, you can also still get tickets with up to a 10% discount up until the 15th of April. For details and tickets, click here.

For this race, we would recommend the Quercia bend from prato 2 (general admission 2), it’s got a great view of a big part of the track, including the finish line! Otherwise, if you would prefer grandstand tickets, the best one for us is Brutapela, from where you can see the majority of the track.
